Modulations: Sound, Light, Movement

Modulations: Sound, Light, Movement, a joint exhibition by ITMO’s Art & Science Center and the State Russian Museum, invites viewers to embark on a one-of-a-kind journey through artistic movements and experiences in the world of the five human senses. At the display, which spans over three floors and features 10 projects, you will get to learn how seaweed sounds, see how an artist managed to translate emotions into 3D sculptures, take a trip to a polar oasis, and much more.

Devoted to the 80th anniversary of the end of a nearly 900-day siege by Nazi forces, The Face of the Siege refers to the eternal topics of memory, tragedy, and the great feat of the people of Leningrad. The display presents over 200 photographs that were made in 1941-1944, documenting everyday life in the besieged city.

Kaguyahime the Moon Princess (1994)
