The display presents a rather small but nevertheless curious and versatile collection of Africa-themed and -inspired paintings created by Russian artists in the 19-20th centuries. At the heart of the exhibition are watercolors and sketches that came to life during the masters’ trips to Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.

Jazz Fest

Jazz Fest is three days of live jazz, Latin dances, arts and crafts workshops, and a display of musical instruments. The festival will bring together a brilliant lineup of 200+ musicians – from local bands to Cuban masters – to create a feast for all music aficionados, their ears and souls.

Kite festival

Kronstadt is well-known for its annual kite festivals – and this year is no exception. The sky above the town will be dotted with a myriad of colors for the joy of kite flyers and watchers, who will enjoy a fun-packed entertainment program with board games and various workshops (including one on kite making), as well as food and souvenir markets.

Exhibition: Ogoniok. Life as a Holiday

Till the early winter, all history buffs and not only will be able to sink their teeth into the history of one of the cult Russian illustrated magazines, which had its first issue published in 1899 and the last – in 2020. The display features a roster of archive photos that contain the authentic atmosphere and joy of a holiday, marvelously captured by celebrated Soviet and Russian photographers.

While downtown, don’t miss out on a chance to visit Focus. Graphics at MYTH Gallery. The first in a series of exhibitions devoted to artistic mediums, the display pays tribute to graphics and presents works of seven artists and teams on a bevy of topics, from life in post-Soviet Russia to anxiety and human-nature interactions.

Poster Every Day 

The exhibition came into being from a niche Telegram channel that brought together a group of like-minded individuals every day to create a poster on a specific topic using a set technique. The 140-day challenge resulted in a large-scale display of the best posters (190 out of 1,000+), which were designed by graphic artists from Russia and abroad.
