Description

During the seminar-school, scholars from leading Russian and European universities will present a series of lectures and labs in the areas of:

- Modern aspects of environmental economics (bioeconomics, low carbon economy,  hydrogen economy)

- Environmental management

- Resource efficiency in the food chain

- Alternative energy in the food chain

- Waste management in the food chain

- Sustainable production and consumption

- Organic farming

- Supply chain management and marketing of environmentally friendly products

Currently, the research is conducted at the Institute of Refrigeration and Biotechnology in cooperation with the partner research institutes and universities and takes place in the format of living labs as following:

Living Lab1: Transition to Sustainable Food Company

Living Lab2: Transition to Sustainable Consumption and Production

Living Lab3: Transition to Sustainable Value Chain

Living Lab4: Transition to Sustainable Urban Development

The course is equivalent to 6 credits.
