Having collected data about 140 Russian technical universities experts measured their influence taking into account such indicators as number of citations per academic staff, proportion of graduates who find employment and ratio of research income to the total institution’s income.
“This ranking includes those universities that offer the most effective training programs meeting all requirements of Russian job market as well as train relevant engineers,” said Natalia Tiurina, head of “Social Guide.”
According to Top Russian Universities for Engineering and Technology ranking 2015, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Novosibirsk State University and National Research Tomsk State University enter the top-3 classical Russian universities. National Research Nuclear University MEPhI was voted the best technical university. Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” placed 3rd.
