The CodeX Club Conducts a Workshop On Docker
Recently, ITMO's CodeX software development club conducted a workshop on developing using Docker.
Its organizers explained how to optimize the development process, work on several projects simultaneously, install software, experiment without harming one's OS and work as a team on a common project.
Docker is an open platform that works in Windows OS, Mac OS and Linux, and is used for software development and application delivery and operation. It automates the deployment of applications inside software containers; in other words, this platform can be used to separate an application from its developer's infrastructure and work with it as if it was a managed application.
The CodeX club unites ITMO's students who are interested in web-development, design and learning new technologies by practice. One can learn more about the club and its different events here.
