• Preaccelerator Programs for UMNIK Winners To Be Held at ITMO University

  As a winner of the competition organized by the Foundation For Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE), ITMO University is now authorized to conduct preaccelerator programs for recipients of the UMNIK grants. This will allow the university to encourage innovation and support young scientists and entrepreneurs more actively.

• ITMO Hosts EduLeaders Best Educational Projects Contest Final

  The ITMO.EduLeaders contest is part of the university’s award for achievement in higher education. The award is meant to identify and support original educational projects, new tools and formats of teacher-student interaction. Each winner will receive 250,000 rubles prize money.

• Three ITMO Students and a Graduate Win UMNIK Grant Competition – Here Are Their Projects and Plans

  The winners’ projects include a prosthetic elbow joint, 3D-printed dental implants, a medical diagnostics system, as well as a program that finds errors in code. The results of the competition were announced on October 23.

• From Science to Business: ITMO University Hosts UMNIK Finals in St. Petersburg

  The participants who had passed the first stage got the chance to present their projects in front of the jury in person, while applicants from other cities will have the opportunity to do this during an online meeting.

• UMNIK-ITMO Innovative Project Competition Application Period is Now Open

  ITMO University together with the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises have announced the launch of the UMNIK-ITMO competition. Students and PhD researchers, young scientists and entrepreneurs working in the field of digital economics are welcome to participate. The best ideas will get 500,000 rubles in funding. • ITMO's Young Scientists Get Grants as Part of UMNIK Program

  On September 29, ITMO University hosted the awards ceremony for the UMNIK grant of the Innovation Promotion Fund. Young scientists received grants in the fields of IT, medicine, materials science, hardware systems, and biotech. Among the awardees were four representatives of ITMO University.
