  • Over 2000 Participate in ITMO’s Online Congress of Young Scientists

    ITMO University hosted the recent Congress of Young Scientists from April 15 to 18. This was the first time that the event was held online. Everyone was quick to adapt to the new online format, and the schedule remained intact.   • How to Train for Competitions and Why do it Now

    2018’s admission campaign has just ended at ITMO. More than a third of the new students getting tuition-free education are winners and runner-ups of national competitions and competitions included in the list of the Russian Council of School Academic Contests. In order to successfully participate in such events, you have to start training in advance, even as early as in summer.     This year, ‘Formula of Unity / Third Millennium’ Maths academic competition celebrates its twentieth anniversary. This annual event brings together thousands of people from all over the world; from 4,500 of the 2018 participants 1,080 have reached the final stage and 360 won first, second, and third prizes.
