  • Russia’s First Master’s in Programming for the Visually Impaired Launches at ITMO

    In 2023, ITMO University is set to launch its Programming for the Visually Impaired Master’s program. The program, which aims to train IT specialists to develop new products that can be used by people with visual impairments, will be the first of its kind in Russia. It will be open to people both with and without disabilities, as the entirety of the program’s curriculum was designed to accommodate all kinds of students.   • ITMO Team Wins Gold at ICPC Northern Eurasia Finals

    Today, December 7, marked the finals of the Northern Eurasia leg of ICPC – the international collegiate programming contest. Team pengzoo from ITMO University took fourth place in the competition, scoring a gold medal alongside other winners. Now, they will represent their region in the 2022/2023 finals.

  • Programming and Information Technologies Track at I Am a Professional: Why You Need It and How to Prepare

    The I Am a Professional contest, which continues to accept applications up until November 15, is an excellent chance for students to test their skills and competencies, win money prizes, receive internship offers, and, most importantly, get into one of the best universities in Russia without any entrance exams.   • Russian Team Brings Home Four Medals From European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics

    The Russian team won two gold and two silver medals at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI 2022), which took place in Antalya, Turkey, on October 16-23. The team was co-trained by Andrey Stankevich, a star coach and an associate professor at ITMO’s Information Technologies and Programming Faculty.
