Vladimir Potanin Foundation Scholarship Competition

Applications to the Vladimir Potanin Foundation scholarship competition are open until December 18.

Who can participate?  

First- and second-year Master’s students.

Competition criteria

During the selection process, the jury will evaluate the students’ academic, intellectual, creative, and leadership potentials, as well as their motivation to grow, social activity, readiness to take responsibility, and awareness of how their chosen field can benefit society. Each applicant has to demonstrate research activity in their chosen field.

Priority will be given to students who have acquired good and excellent grades during their previous or current stage of education.

The competition consists of two rounds:

1. Online – based on an application form that includes a letter of motivation and an essay on the topic of the student’s future Master’s thesis;
2. Offline (in 2021, it will also be held online) – business games, interview, cases, and other group and individual forms of evaluation. 

Timeline of the competition:

• Сall for applications: until December 18, 2020;
• First round results announcement: before January 15, 2021;
• Second round: one day between January 26 and February 10, 2021;
• Competition winners announced: no later than February 25, 2021.
