European Street Design Challenge

Description

In the European Street Design Challenge, international teams of top young designers, in close cooperation with local residents and policy makers, compete to create innovative, “smart” urban community solutions and applications through the use of open and collaborative methodologies, together with digital tools and prototyping.

During the St. Petersburg, part, local authorities and business representatives will evaluate projects dedicated to the Spit of Bazil Island in St. Peterburg. The participating teams must consist of four members and be able to communicate in English. 

Applications are accepted till May 9 at spb.sdc@gmail.com. Each team member must submit a CV and answer a question "Why do you want to participate in our challenge?" in English. Answers in creative forms, such as video, presentations and sketches, are encouraged. 

The results will be announced on May 22 during the First St. Petersburg Forum on Spacial Development.
