February 20, 2014 Expert Council summed up the student’s Scholarship Program Vladimir Potanin competition. The program is performed for magistracy students and magistracy teachers. It  maintains an active youth and promotes change in the educational environment. It continues the tradition of active support for young people and puts more ambitious goals: to promote changes in the educational environment, orient it to support the knowledge, professionalism, creativity and volunteering. The program includes Scholarship competition for students enrolled in magistracy, Grant competition for magistracy teachers and School for students and teachers – contest winners.

After two rounds, we can mention the names of 300 winners from all over Russia. Six winners are students of the ITMO University:

  3. Ilya Krasnokutsky
  4. Mikhail Kuznetsov
  5. Andrey Panteleev
  6. Daria Pogorelaya

All winners have active life position: 90% of them have experience of participation in student government, volunteer and community activities. They also demonstrate the constant striving for self-development (68% of them, in addition to the core, have additional education)and responsible approach to the choice of the future profession - more than half of them (59%) not only learn, but also work. Most winners (63%) are aged 23 to 25 years. Compared with the competition last year, significantly increased the quantity of fellows who are more than 25 years.

Winners will receive a monthly scholarship Vladimir Potanin Charity Foundation in the amount of 15,000 rubles per month starting with the second semester of the academic year until the end of training in a magistracy. Winners will also participate in the School Fund, where they can present a volunteer project and win the grant for its implementation.
