Bioinformatics Online Contest

Description

The contest will consist of two parts. The qualification round will take place on Jan. 23 – 29. The final will take place on Feb. 18 and will include bioinformatics problems to be solved with programming skills. The main goal of the contest is to correctly solve the highest number of problems in a 24-hour period. All problems will be online and the solutions will be evaluated in real time.

The participants are expected to have basic skills in molecular biology, computer science, machine learning and genetics.

The problems are created by ITMO students, champions of various programming competitions.

Registration is open till Jan. 30.
