Description
Taking place on March 9, 2019, Women in Data Science St. Petersburg (WiDS'19 St. Petersburg) is an independent event organized by the Higher School of Economics and the company JetBrains to coincide with the Global WiDS Conference held at Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide.
In line with the Global WiDS Conference, Women in Data Science St. Petersburg aims to inspire and educate data scientists, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. Everyone, whatever their background, age or gender, is invited to participate.
The one-day conference will allow you to learn about how Data Science is used in business (as told by Elena Chernysheva, Yandex), what are its applications in the pharmaceutical industry (Ekaterina Gudkova, BIOCAD), and how machine learning changes the face of healthcare (Varvara Tsurko, iCS RAS, IQVIA), as well as to participate in a panel discussion on starting your career in Data Science.
The full program of the conference is available at the event's official website.
